We do all our own books and taxes. Although, does anyone know what happens if you are getting paid in USD? Do I claim it in Canadian money? Weird. The tax stuff gets harder and harder.
Do you think it is worth it to get someone to do your books? Taxes?
Thanks
Diana

I keep all my records in Quicken - but a friend of mine does my taxes. I hate doing taxes.

I do my own books and taxes, using Quick books and Quick tax software.

I keep good records throughout the year, but have a professional accountant prepare my taxes at tax time!

I use a small business accountant! There is no way I want to learn all the tax stuff and I would rather pay someone to do it right and support me if I am audited.

we do our own books with some help from my mother-in-law who is the accountant for the family business. If I was actually making very much money I'd look into hiring someone to do my bookkeeping.

You need to convert it into Canadian, unless you keep a US bank account, and you leave it in there. And even then, I'd call revenue canada.

I do my own books and taxes
